First of all, Dr. Phil's stance on cosleeping is No Way.
Secondly on a show last year he was interviewing a couple that had had
several crisis' early in their marriage, including their wedding. His answer to
this was to give the couple a week long cruise. The Mom said, "I can't do that.
I am nursing a 6 month old. So I can't be gone for a week" dr. Phil's
response to the mother was, "You can get a breast pump. I am a man and even I know
that". NO compassion or support for the mother's concern about separation from
her baby. No positive reinforcement of the fact the mother was providing the
best for her baby.
I don't think this television personality is breastfeeding or baby friendly.
