Unexpected support!
Paul Orfolea, the founder of Kinko's, was on the Tavis Smiley show on NPR
this morning. When the host (a well-known African-American news/media
personality, for those of you unfamiliar with the show) asked him what the
most important next challenge in his life was going to be, Mr Orfolea said
breastfeeding support!
He went on for about a minute and half in a passionate voice about how
important breastfeeding is, and how communities ( and employers) need to a
better job supporting breastfeeding!
If you want to listen, I think the show is archived at tavistalks.com. The
Tavis Smiley Show has the highest ratings in public radio history for the
following groups: under 34s of all races, African-Americans of all ages, and
affluent small business owners of all races. I hope everyone in these
groups was listening today!
