Hi Mary Kay,
     A supervisor very much on board with supporting breastfeeding gave
me this thought: The parenting umbrella is bigger than the feeding
method.  It is important to hold baby closely, lovingly, for feedings if
by breast or by bottle.  It is very important for a mom to feel good
about her parenting, no matter the fdg method.
