I spoke with the mother in person tonight and she told me that the Customer
Service Director of SkyWest sought her out this afternoon and called her to
personally apologize. SkyWest will be re-training their flight staff about
the actual procedure and policies concerning breastfeeding on their flights.
They will also be sending the Mom a follow-up letter explaining to her
exactly what steps have been taken.
We will be putting up a 3 Minute Activist letter at ProMoM about this later
tonight or tomorrow to thank SkyWest for their prompt and appropriate action
to this incident. I will post the contact information for the Director of
Customer Service here when I get it as well in case anyone would like to
send them a personal note.
