the younger you have a tonsilectomy, the greater the chance of some
regrowth.
I do think there is a difference in whether it is a lingual frenulum
(tongue to bottom of mouth) or a labial frenulum (upper gum to upper lip).
My personal opinion is that once clipped the ligual frenulum behaves and
stays loosened and the labial frenulum, once torn, tends to "grow back" ie:
heal back the way it was -almost. The labial frenulum is frequently torn in
fall down sort of accidents. My grandson had to have a labial frenectomy a
while ago because it was really distorting the spacing of his upper front
