This is a note to Norma for her soon to be more than 5 reasons to
breastfeed. When I took my LC Management course we were asked to name reasons to
breastfeed. Around the room the ideas flowed, when they got to me I said, " So you
don't have to get out of bed on a cold winter's night to stand and wait to
heat a bottle." I was promptly called down as to "hey you live in Florida!" I
told them that we have many nasty cold nights in January and February and
cold is cold no matter where you live. So that could be my favorite odd one.
But why not just the words on my bumper sticker: "Babies were born to be
breastfed."
Says it all.
Can't wait to read the responses.
Lovingly from Florida where we are having our first night a few weeks were
we had to turn the AC on, while we watch the map with nasty low temps.
