Thanks to everyone who replied on list & off. You are such a great group of
friends and colleagues -- I appreciate every one of you!!!
I'm leaving to teach in Charlotte today, but she is going to try the
following:
Off the antibiotics
Hepar Sulphur & Phytolacca
ATC low dose ibuprophen
Increased Vitamin C & protein
I'm wondering if it isn't inflammation instead of true infection....so we
are going to go with this while I'm gone (and be in e-mail contact). When I
get home I'll see her and we'll revise the strategy if necessary.
If she starts running a high fever or otherwise feels really sick, then back
on the prescribed antibiotics (even though I don't think they are working)
-- at least until I can get home & chat w/ her OB myself.
I'm going to keep the horrible spectre of possible cancer in the back of my
mind, Nikki. Thanks for bringing that up....
