Janice - we discussed this on Lactnet last week. I posted about the
different versions of the events surrounding these deaths which
appeared in the newspapers and on the web.
In particular, the mothers' own accounts of the circumstances
differed from what was heard in the coroner's court. I draw no
conclusion from this, except to say that the actual circumstances of
the deaths heard in the court are likely to be correct, because this
would be police and medical evidence taken at the time. If this
evidence is unchallenged in court, one would assume it to be correct.
