Jeanette has identified the crux of the problem, shallow education. I'd
love it if we could require lactnet, but perhaps we *could* require that
no one can get certified with cerps or clinical hours from only one
source. I require my interns to work with other LCs, so they are not
stuck with my weaknesses. And as Barbara Wilson-Clay says "there's more
than one way to be right."
Obviously these LE's are not being taught how milk is produced and how
supply is calibrated, or they'd know better than to set rules on mothers
and babies.
