Dee Kassing's article on paced bottle-feeding was in JHL. If you join ILCA
(which you can do on-line), one of your member benefits is on-line access to
past issues of JHL. Many think that, alone, is worth the price of
membership.
I think ILCA offers a great deal more than that. As a member of your
professional organization, you'll benefit personally (networking, access to
information, etc.) -- but you also give an outward sign to the rest of the
world that you take your profession seriously enough to join its
association.
That is why I have remained a member of my bar association all these years
.... and I suspect many IBCLCs who have other professional credentials are
members of those associaitons, too.
