The dosage recommendation that I provided is the exact dosing schedule use 
by the manufacturer and FDA when the prodeuct was on the market.  I believe 
that both nostrils were used to ensure that an adequate amount of the 
Syntocinon was absorbed.  As anyone who uses nasal sprays knows, sometimes 
as much gets into the nose, also ends up in your throat or running out of 
your nose.
In any case, what is important is to use the amount that works.
Hope this helps clarify the dosage schedule.
