Hello--I am posting on behalf of my 9-year old daughter (with 
permission!). Maddie turned 9 on June 3. She is showing signs of 
buds/breast development. Last night she said that both breasts underneath 
the nipple (under the skin near her chest) hurt. On the L she felt a hard 
spot, she described it as a "disk under there". I felt both sides and 
there was a hardness under the L when I applied pressure on either side of 
her nipple. I am bringing her to her ped for this (she was an LLL leader 
and nursed her own for 6 years, I know we are in good hands there), but 
since I have no experience with adolescents I wanted to put this out to 
all of you for some helpful guidance. She so far does not show signs of 
pubic or underarm hair, acne, or other developmental changes. She nursed 
until she was just past six. Any suggestions would be most appreciated.
