It makes no sense to me that yeast would be the culprit if this cleared
up the minute the babies went from breastmilk to formula. Why would
that be? I'd look at whether mom had a large milk supply and was
switching sides by the clock. I see a lot of irritated bottoms in young
babies until the milk supply gets regulated, even if mom is doing one
breast per feed. My assumption has been that baby is getting a whole
lot of lower fat milk, making for more irritating stools. This would be
exaggerated if mom is going by "old rules" about switching sides
arbitrarily. I'd ask about this possibility.
