There is a great article about a doula in inner city Chicago helping teens
with pregnancy, birth and beyond in this week's issue of people magazine. I
was touched that we are finally seeing articles written about the things we
are trying to get through to young mothers, like, "It's about the baby right
now," and "It's the kind of support that can make all the difference." The
online article is just a small blurb with a link to Loretha Weisinger's (the
doula that the article is about) website.

Now, I wish we'd see more articles about lactation consultants and
breastfeeding that are painting the work we do in a positive light.
