Dia, what a lovely article! I printed it out to include in the notebook I
give my childbirth students... I think helping more parents to realize how
beneficial extended breastfeeding is might help them stick with it a
little longer than most do these days!

Absolutely... I cannot imagine parent-led weaning. ;) Child-led weaning
was the easiest thing I ever did. My son weaned so gradually that I can't
really say exactly when it happened... just that it was somewhere around
late May or early June before he turned 4 in August.
