Just an observation:

Have you all noticed that when a mother pumps and gets "no milk" that she
invariably assumes she is the one with a problem.  Often I find that she is
using a pump with no suction.  I wonder how many mothers with "milk that
dried up" were trying to pump for their babies when they went back to work or
were separated for other reasons.

PS I loved the sink analogy and the saliva one.  Too bad we can't use
something more exotic or romantic.  Probably all it will take is some
time--what with nearly 300 brilliant brains at work on this.
