I have seen a couple of women who had blisters on a nipple/areola during or
after a viral infection in the baby...one was definitely "hand/foot and
mouth disease", the other a viral illness where the baby did not have
visible mouth sores when I saw him.
I am sure I have seen photos of herpes on the breast, but it does probably
not happen very often.
