I received this notice in an Alum newsletter and thought some of you might
be interested as well. The lecture is about an hour long. I don't know if it
can be saved or how long it will be available.
SATURDAY SCHOLAR SERIES PRESENTATION AVAILABLE ON THE WEB
James McKenna, Rev. Edmund P. Joyce, C.S.C., Professor of Anthropology,
delivered the most recent lecture in the University of Notre Dame's Saturday
Scholar Series, "Caring for Babies, Caring for Parents: What Human Infants
Really Need and Why," on Oct. 22.
http://newsinfo.nd.edu/content.cfm?topicid=14204
In his presentation, McKenna, an expert on infant co-sleeping and
breastfeeding, shed light on the differences among contemporary cultural
practices, personal preferences and scientific findings related to caring
for infants.
The link will take you to the Notre Dame website and there are options for
broadband and modem access.
