Dear Kate,
I'm a little late catching up on posts but had to answer this one. My newly
certified partner pointed out to me that Nystatin has 50% sugar as its base;
the perfect breeding ground for yeast. I had never heard this fact before;
only that a large percentage of yeast is resistant to Nystatin. Could this
be why it's so resistant? Because it's being fed by the sugar? If I were
this mom I would get rid of the Nystatin to start with.
