Reading backward in the archives, I now find that Anne Swisher had
already echoed my impressions about <What I have become a huge fan of
when baby cannot latch or is too sleepy to suck, is first do reverse
pressure softening if any edema is present, and then hand express
directly into a spoon.>
Then she give us some valuable mathematics re: concentrated calorie
value/cc's, so "a little dab'll do ya" can make a lot of difference in
keeping the blood sugar up, and so head off staff temptation to
supplement.
