Hi All,
When I see a mom who could really benefit from Domperidone I give her ALL
the information as I am supposed to.  The pros and cons of the drug vs.
raglan and the FDA information making sure to clarify what issue the FDA
had.  I tell her that is may be possible to get it but it will likely be
very difficult.  It is then HER choice to seek it out or not.  Parents are
usually savvy enough realize it is about the almighty dollar and not sound
science.  In my opinion - most of what we teach is about education.  We help
to educate the parents on safe, sound (common sense) infant feeding/infant
care/parenting and we teach them to educate themselves about the same thing.
