I had a client who pumped _twice a day_ with a Lactina from four months to nine months and got 32 oz a day to feed her cleft palate daughter. I'd never have suggested it but the OB told her to give it a try, and boy was she happy.
(At that point her manic-depressive husband tried to steal the baby and she left the state to go stay with her mom - and stopped pumping. She is remarried, lives here again and very happily breastfed her next child. Her darling daughter was and is remarkably healthy>)
Dawn....HAPPY because I just finished my master's thesis!!!
