Here are two very easy, cheap ways to make slings without any sewing.
1. For an over the shoulder type of sling:
You need a 3 yds long piece of 45" fabric.
Tie a square/reef knot (right over left, left over right,) in the short ends.
Adjust to fit.
2. For a moby wrap type sling - this is truly hands free!
You need 6 yards of 60" knit fabric, split down the middle to make TWO slings.
(I go to the end-of-roll and discontinued section of the fabric stores.)
