The CLC week-long, 45 CERPs program from  Healthy  Children stands for 
Certified Lactation  Counselor.



This is the certification I hold, and I NEVER mislead people  that I am a 
consultant.  I call myself a counselor and only a  counselor.  I usually tell 
them I am continuing my education so that I will  eventually become IBCLC 
certified.  To me, the counselor business is merely  a stepping stone, and I am glad 
to have at least that training, as minimal as it  is.
