I was asked to try out these nipples. Babies in the first 3 days do not
like it. The end of the nipple is quite hard and I could feel the
babies resisting when they felt it in their mouths. It took them an
unreasonable amount of time to drink. I like slow flow, but this was
too slow.
Mothers of older babies said that it took the babies a few tries to
get used to the nipple. It is not exactly like the breast. On the
breast, we have a combination of positive and then negative pressure
which removes milk. In this nipple, it is only positive pressure which
opens the holes and sends the spray into the baby's mouth.
I am interested to hear what others think.
