    This news about pacifiers being protective against  crib or cot 
death...........bypassing the importance of breastfeeding, yet  again.
    Sigh.
    Research from all around the world (Rochester, New  York; Finland, and 
Brazil) link pacifier use with increased ear infections and  reduced 
breastfeeding duration.
    Double sigh..
