Hi Nikki and All,
I recently received a call from a distributor of a *new and improved*
breastfeeding pillow who wanted me to see their materials in hopes that I,
as a pp lc, would have an interest in becoming one of their reps. I told
them that I do not recommend bf pillows and prefer to work with mom in her
own environment with the pillows/supports she has on hand but they were
welcome to send their info to me anyway and I'd take a look. The info came
with some printed material and a CD to view. This new-fangled device did
just about everything but wash the kitchen dishes! It doubled and
tripled as this and that, and, you know what the beauty of it was?? Now
get this- cause I know that this is something that many of us have been
wanting for the moms we work with (tongue firming implanted in cheek....)-
the pillow was designed such that baby can just lie on it at exactly the
correct height to reach mom's breasts and mom does not have to hold the
baby at all!!! This way, mom's arms do not get tired!!! Is that awesome
or what????
;-)

P.S. Thanks, Nikki, for that reference to Procrustes. I was not familiar
with him!
