I would like to thank everyone who has replied to my recent questions. I've
found some real pearls of information. I've enjoyed the discussion on STS and
bonding, both on Lactnet and offline with a few others (thanks, Chris) and
agree with Marsha as to how much these two things have affected my practice in
the last few years.
I also would like to thank Dr. Wight for her astute observations and remarks
regarding the study about donor milk and fortifiers. Her post clarified quite a
bit for me.
She's there everyday with these situations and knows it from the perspective
of a physician specializing in premature and newborn babies. We have to
respect each other and realize that we come to the table with different skill sets,
knowledge base and personal and professional perspectives.
As Kathleen B says, back to the usual program!
