Cortisone is a steriod, there is no listing for "oral cortisone" in Hale but my guess is that mom is getting something like prednisolone or prednisone which are on page 679 in the 2004 edition. It is a Lactation risk L2, not contraindicated in low doses with the average adult dose 5-120 mg day. See if you can get more specific information.
