Karen, this sounds very much like hindmilk/foremilk imbalance. We have
covered green stools on Lactnet before so check the archives. Also, might be
called overabundant milk supply or overactive letdown.
Dr. Newman has a good handout on Colic and the BF Baby. You can print it off
Cindy Curtis' web site. I am blanking on this right now.
Also, information on green stools or colic can be found in the newest
edition of the Breastfeeding Answer Book.
