I'm hoping the wise Lactnetters will be able to help me find some
evidence-based references describing the composition of breastmilk during
pregnancy. I have searched the archives, PubMed, BAB and Riordan without
finding much of anything. Only brief mention that the sodium content and
flavor may change.
I need something official to refute the notion that when a woman becomes
pregnant her milk becomes "dirty."
Thanks so much,
