Nikki, good analogy.
My friend's cardiologist makes clear his recommendations. If a patient
continues to smoke, eat unhealthful foods, won't exercise, and doesn't take
seriously his/her heart health the doctor refuses to see the patient
further. He is quite militant when it comes to his enthusiasm for keeping
his patients healthy. He will certainly try to convince his patients to
keep with the program if he/she is feeling discouraged.
