Talked to my boss tonight and she said the woman's reference for NOT
cupfeeding, was from NANN, the National Association of Neonatal Nurses. She
apparently was a legal rep of some kind, not an RN as I thought, and she stated that
NANN does not support cupfeeding, stating that it is a dangerous practice.
Therefore, neonatal nurses should not cupfeed any baby under any
circumstances. Well, lactnetters, ever heard of NANN and their statement of practice?
