Healthy term baby presents with good wt gains, nursing 8 or more x/24hrs.
Large yellow stools, just not every day. I'm not disturbed. I think
you can wait with the suppositories, and just wait for him to poop when
he's ready. Every single baby in the world doesn't follow the textbooks.
Usually a baby is 2 months or older when the stools space out, maybe
Lachlan's time schedule is a little early.
One thing you could do is a pre and post feed weight. I'm a little
disturbed with the initial sore nipples, did you try the asymmetric latch
and was there any difference?
I hear you on the needing extra hands for the first few feeds -
been there with my third baby who is now 13. :-)
