Jennifer,
Regarding your post about pg mom nursing toddler with thrush and nipple
thrush, diflucan is listed as category C for use during pregnancy; roughly
translated either adverse effects in animal studies or not tested during pregnancy,
according to Hale. Any interest in homeopathy for both mother and child? Borax
(not the cleanser :) ) is the remedy of choice for thrush, no side effects
whatsoever. There's an older article in Mothering about alternative tx for
thrush, very thorough. How about trying just topical tx for both mom and baby?
Gentian violet?
