I use gloves when I handle the nipple and feeding tube, your staff could
do the same. You could pre-cut a bunch of nipples with the sterile
scissors, then put them in a clean bag for later use, and resterilize
the scissors. I use a very clean serrated knife in a home visit
environment... Sterile is not all that important unless we are dealing
with premies, with healthy babies, clean is generally good enough.
