Dear Friends:
There is a mention of hospital practices about infant feeding in this
sad article.
Where did the apparently global notion come from that babies are
supposed to feed at breast and then be done? I see this in hospitals in the US; baby
breastfeeds and then wants more in 'x' number of minutes and is then given a
bottle. If one is going to feed the baby again, why not at breast?
Adults will continue to drink and nibble after a
meal.................sigh.
