Has anyone worked with a mom who has used a birth control ring?
Anectodtally, did you see an effect on supply? Not sure if it is Nuva but
it does have combined hormones (yes, estradiol). I have suggested she not
use it and she is without a partner at this time, won't be seeing the
father, left him shortly after becoming pregnant, now only 7 weeks
postpartum, not planning on sex in the near future, just enjoying her
first breastfeeding baby (her other two children are 18 and 21, never
breastfed.). She only took it from her ob/gyn because she went to him for
her 6-week checkup, discussed birth control and breastfeeding and he told
her this was a great option because it wouldn't affect her milk and she is
past the 6 week mark now, so, not to worry.
I guess I am just wondering if there is any new info on this ring or am I
correct in thinking this BRAND NEW ob knows not of what he speaks.
Thank you,
Cheryl
