I belong to an infertility board from the time I was experiencing
infertility. I have not canceled my subscription because I have known many of these
women for years and wish to see them through their journey. A woman asked
about adoptive nursing and I gave her a lot of information, and lots of websites.
I offered my support. Several other women have jumped in saying that it
was too "frustrating" etc. etc. I am so sad thinking how their bad experience
or opinion is probably going to sway the women who were contemplating
breastfeeding their adopted babies into bottle feeding instead. Is there anything
else I can do or say to help these moms realize that there is more to
breastfeeding than just the milk?
Sorry just had to have a minivent....
