In England we call them lollies (with a stick) or ice-pops (without)
>If the blisters spread, or if the pain of
>the one impacts toddler's ability to breastfeed well, mom can pump her
>milk and freeze it into popsicles (umm, there are other names for this
>in other countries, like I think maybe "ice block" and others?). One
>mother I know did this when her toddler's mouth and throat were covered
>with blisters and the toddler hurt so much she couldn't nurse. Mom was
>getting engorged, so she pumped. The toddler loved the cool of the
>popsicles--felt very good on her sore mouth and throat--and of course, the
>breastmilk that got into the child this way was very good for her.
