I too enjoyed this article.  I thought it was very well written and reflects the rapport between the journalist and her interviewee.  Not many journalist could tackle this subject so well.

I have to admit a little as bias as Alison and her family are good friends of mine.  Matilda (like her siblings) is indeed  a wonderful, independant and free spirited child.  She certainly rattles my grey matter whenever we meet!

Alison will be attending conferences in Washington and Chicago in July.  She has written a number of exceptional articles giving a perspective on breastfeeding that is unique. Hamilton and New Zealand are lucky to have her.  Having an Obstetrician with her values on breastfeeding  is a treat!
