Peanuts and soy are very common allergens--you say she eats a lot of p. butter--what about soy? Has anything else changed? While I do help moms with elimination diets--I also will have moms see  a homeopath and/or baby will have CST for these kinds of problems if they do not resolve pretty quickly, b/c I think the cause is rarely just a food.
