Hi all, Know some of you are really skilled in regard to 
medicinal herbs. Had a patient ask today about Active 
Hexose Correlated Compound to boost her immune system. 
The ingredients are Mushroom mycelia extract, candelilla 
wax and cyclodextrin( a modified starch to improve stability) 
It seems the mushroom mycelia is from immature raishi and 
shiitake mushrooms. I looked in Sheila Humphrey's "Nursing 
Mother's Herbal" seems raishi and shiitki mushrooms are not 
a problem. Does anyone have any experience with this 
compound and know of it's safety. Have also instructed her to 
discuss with her MD. Thanks, Chris
