I understand that mamma cats and dogs have to lick their babies' bellies
so they will pee and poop; mom eats all the elimination.
Please remember Tiffany Field PhD and her research showing that premies
that were massaged once a shift for 15 minutes for 5-10 days gained more
weight (on the same amount of food as the non-massaged controls) and went home
sooner.
We have to promote the right hormonal climate for a baby to gain too.
