If you ask a formula company how they got your name will they know, will
they tell you? I just talked with a mom yesterday how she was so surprised
that
when she got home from the hospital there was the box of formula sitting
there. She did use it along with breastfeeding in the early days.
Dear Friends:
I hate this. I hate that moms get free formula from a variety of different
sources, in some 'magic' way.........yet our local nursing mother's groups
could not longer get referrals from local hospitals. This meant that new
breastfeeding mothers couldn't get free help from local, trained volunteer
counselors. Somehow HIPAA works in one direction, and not in another.
Grrrrr!
