Not to pick on you personally, but just as a jumping-off point: this
word, when used about breastfeeding advocates and nursing mums,
drives me crazy. 'Militant' means war-like, violent.
Feeding a child (completely regardless of the level of skin exposure)
is never a violent or warlike act. Just like those who compare
breastfeeders to those committing genocide in WWII, I think we should
be calling people out every time they misuse this word to demonise
child/woman advocates.
