I get the fenugreek myth all the time. Some moms hear it from their friends,
others hear it from hospital staff. No one seems to be getting the full
message of supply and demand, just the "magic pill" idea.
I suppose this is cultural thing here in the USA but I also think we LCs
sound wishy washy or ignorant when one LC tells them all they need is a
galatagogue and the other LC says they also need to pump or nurse more. What
are mothers to believe?
Just a few thoughts on things that are bugging me lately.
