Hi Sarah. If you search for rusty pipe syndrome in the Lactnet archives,
(instructions in the welcome note you received), or on the archive page
below, you will find information about this, as it has been covered in the
past very thoroughly. It will be helpful to you. Also, in books like The
Breastfeeding Answer Book, in The Ultimate Breastfeeding Book of Answers,
etc, this is explained nicely. It is fairly common.
