Another reason to write out your post and save it in the drafts folder is
that some of us start reading and quickly skip anything that sounds angry,
mean, or politically motivated. Therefore my point is that answering back in
anger or with quick wording will most likely insure that others stop reading
one's posts.
It is hard with email to say things in a way that people understand and take
as one means it. Without that tone of voice and facial expression, it is
often too easy to misread things.
It has been so nice these last months not to have the mean spirited and
argumentative posts of last winter and summer. (And I am also one who will
argue something to death and speak up for myself, so I am not saying we
should all practice avoidance and live in denial. I am saying think and read
three times before hitting send.)
