In view of the early failure to thrive, risk factors of infertility and
thyroid, and baby behavior of "restless and agitated" have you ruled out
just plain not enough milk rather than quality of the milk? Milk quality
would very rarely be the problem. Is she now euthyroid? or hyper or hypo
now?
This would be the first thing I would rule out. Sometimes the supply seems
to be ok but it is just not enough for baby to thrive.
The second thing I would look out would be an allergy or sensitivity to
something in mom's milk (diet or meds?).
